Boyer Landscapes, Inc. has been a community partner since 1987. We believe it is important to give back to the surrounding community as well as abroad. Working with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and the Frederick County Rotary to help to landscape several Habitat houses in Winchester and Frederick County, Virginia. Boyer Landscapes, Inc. has also helped to fund missions trips to Kenya and Haiti. 

Lew Boyer has worked with Habitat for Humanity over the years to landscape 18 Habitat for Humanity Houses in Frederick County and Winchester, Virginia. Boyer Landscapes has partnered with the Frederick County Rotary to complete several of these projects.

Brent Ebeling has completed several mission trips to Kenya, where he installed drip irrigation systems for crop production. Boyer Landscapes and Frederick County Rotary partnered once again to help fund this mission trip. Brent spent a week in Kenya in 2008 teaching the villagers how to build and maintain a drip irrigation system. The gardens that were being watered by the irrigation would be used for food production that would not only feed the villagers but would produce enough food for the villagers to sell and make an income.

Brent Ebeling and Ken Massie traveled to Haiti in 2009 to install a drip irrigation system that would produce crops that would be provided at a school. Brent and Ken spent a week in Haiti constructing this irrigation system and planting vegetables in the garden.

As of April 2010, Brent reports that both Kenya and Haiti locations are still producing crops!

Boyer Landscapes, Inc. sent a crew to Biloxi, Mississippi in 2008 and 2009. The crews helped the residents of Biloxi and Gulfport clean up after Hurricane Katrina, which hit the Gulf Coast in 2007. The crews spent a week removing debris, hanging cabnents, removing drywall, and other small jobs. The crews where able to help 4 different families in Biloxi and Gulfport. Boyer Landscapes Inc. and Frederick County Rotary partnered to fund the trips.

Lew Boyer II has donated and helped facilitated to several Boy Scouts of America, Eagle Scout projects over the years. Lew, being and Eagle Scout himself, likes to help these young men with their different projects.
